The Early Math Workshop

The Early Math Workshop is based on the research used in developing the Block Fest™ traveling exhibit. In this Workshop, early childhood teachers and providers are invited to attend and learn more about block play. Workshop participants will learn:

How block play can impact and enhance early math and science learning
Why early math learning is important in preparing children for school readiness
How early math learning can have long-term impact into a child’s middle and high school years
Ideas and activities to make block play both fun and educational

The focus of this workshop is to provide information accessible and ready for the classroom.
